My current comp does the same thing in direct draw mode... The reason the menus still work is because the game is set at 640x480 for those, then switches (or in this case, TRIES to switch) to 320 from the loading screen onward. Any application I try to open brings up the option where you have to select which application you want to open it with. And none of them will work. I've tried opening my anti-virus and spyware apps, diagnostic testing, etc and nothing will open. Only IE will actually open and run properly. Any ideas? Thanks.
