How Do I Fix My Computer Without Getting Professional Help?

First, I renewal my antivirus and it wouldn’t work unless I put it to safe mode. Now I can’t even use it cause somebody told me to clean disk C. I did, what now, I need help fixing this problem. I want my computer to work normal before this problem happen. By the way its the XP Home edition.

I used the Windows Recovery panel to fix my computer. Run it from your Windows CD.
